Spent the day in the library with Jon Chan. Then we went to Jon Koehn’s and chilled out. We watched the movie Silent Hill, which was much more gory and scary than I expected. Came home pretty early. My parents are redecorating their house right now. There is furniture everywhere and paint supplies covering every spare surface. The house is filled with noise, mess, and inconvenience – but at it’s worst it is still so much more luxurious than my place. I forget how crappy my apartment is until I visit my folks. I doubt that I’ll ever be able to afford a place like theirs, and if I can afford it, I’m still not sure that’s how I’ll want to live.
